Application et prescriptions
1. Le présent chapitre s'applique à tous les navires exploités dans les eaux polaires auxquels ont été délivrés les certificats prévus par la présente Annexe.
2. Sauf disposition expresse contraire, tout navire visé au paragraphe 1 de la présente règle doit satisfaire aux dispositions relatives à l'environnement énoncées dans l'introduction et le chapitre 4 de la partie II-A du Recueil sur la navigation polaire en plus de satisfaire à toutes autres prescriptions applicables de la présente Annexe.
